Ads are everywhere online these days, touting the merits of the rebate processing business. These ads make it seem so very simple...process rebates for companies...and then receive a nice paycheck. Wow, now that is an easy way to make money. Send the customer, a rebate on the company product purchased...and they will pay you for it. That sounds simple, easy right? But wait a minute, first the company must retrieve a registration fee...for your processing the rebate for them. Some of the companies want just a small fee, so that, as they put it, "we will not waste time and money on the tire kickers"...or those that are not serious about earning an income. Well, if you did not think it through, this reasoning would seem sensible. But let's take a closer look. Legitimate businesses do not charge a fee for you to make money or profit for them. The legitimate companies know that they need you...more than you need them.
